Hazrat Ameer Kabeer, Syed Ali Hamdani( Shah e Hamdan) came to Kashmir in the reign of Shahab Ud Din Ghauri and preached Islam. At his hand lots of people accepted Islam and it became the most popular religion. He preached Islam suring 1378 to 1394AD.
